  • At Army Public School Binnaguri, it is our endeavour to infuse the young eager minds which flock to the institution with knowledge, by providing them access to high quality education and learning experiences. The best way to predict the future is to create it. The institution has a strong team of Staff members who are devoted, dedicated and determined to pave the path for the creation of a progressive nation and society.
  • Along with evaluation of the students’ academic pursuit, as proposed by CBSE, the academic session 2020-2021 was replete with a plethora of online activities and events. The students participated with great gusto and enthusiasm in the multifarious activities organized by the school inspite of the hurdles due to the onset of the pandemic.
  • In the session 2019-20, 43 students in AISSCE and 49 students in AISSE appeared from Army Public School Binnaguri, among which, 13 students in AISSCE 2019-2020 and 16 students in AISSE 2019-2020 scored 90% & above. The overall pass percentage stands at 100%.
  • In Class XII CBSE Examination (AISSCE 2019-2020) ,the stream wise meritorious positions are:-
    1. Miss Nandini Kumari – 95.4%( Science)
    2. Miss Mridula Chhetri- 94.8% (Humanities)
    3. Miss Shweta- 94.2% (Commerce)
  • That moment of glory and pride amalgamated with an outstanding performance of the students of Army Public School, Binnaguri in AISSE, 2019-20.In Class X CBSE Examination(AISSE 2019- 2020) ,the Following students won laurels for the school :-
    1. Miss Hrishita Ghosh-99%
    2. Master Ishan Pathak-96.4%
    3. Master Arjun Singh Khimta-95.2%
  • The score of 99% secured by Hrishita Ghosh has set a new benchmark for the upcoming students and she has created history by acquiring marks never scored earlier from APS Binnaguri since the inception of the school.
  • The laurels brought forth by these young talents have been deeply appreciated by the school management, faculty and staff members which certainly sets a motivating spirit, for the batches yet to appear in future. It is heartily longed that their perseverance and dedication bestow accolades upon them and motivate them further to accomplish their aspirations for a prosperous future.
  • NCC
    Kilmu Lavanya (Class VII) won the best cadet award from Darjeeling (HQ), West Bengal division.
  • Students were motivated to participate in various online competitions organized by C.B.S.E. & other agency.
  • APS Binnaguri celebrated International Yoga day on 21 June , 2020,via online mode , due to the perils of the pandemic . The students performed yoga postures and uploaded images and videos of the same from the safety of their homes.
  • A flurry of activities and competitions were conducted online for classes I-VIII from the month of June 2020 to January 2021. These comprised of Solo-song Competition , Poster- making Competition, Story- telling , Poem recitation both in English and Hindi, recitation of Sanskrit Shloka, Christmas Card Making , Fancy Dress Competition, Origami Competition and Best Out of Waste , all of which were conducted online. Students presented themselves through the medium of video, audio clips and shared images.

    These online competitions served as a wonderful platform to bring out their skill and talent to the forefront in such trying times. The efforts of the students were well appreciated.


    On 23 March.2021 Col. Sujit Dutta, AWES Eastern Command Director, visited the school premises of Army Public School Binnaguri. An interactive session was organized in the school multipurpose hall, attended by the students of class X and XII as well as the members of teaching staff. He motivated the students and encouraged them to stay focused in order to excel in the upcoming board exams. His experience and wisdom were evidently reflected in his charismatic persona. The institution felt honoured and privileged by his presence.
  • For constant improvements in teaching standards ,15 Teachers attended the Webinars (Training sessions) conducted by Faculty Development & Research Centre, New Delhi under the initiative of Army Welfare Education Society.
  • Constant improvements are being made on a regular basis. These initiatives are infrastructural, sports initiatives & academic endeavours(English Language Lab ,TAL.,etc.)
  • The school strives to carry out some very specific and important improvements which would help us reach our goals in the future too.
  • The Management, Teachers, Staff, of Army Public School Binnaguri are consistently striving towards nurturing a common dream of imparting Quality Education and inculcating core human values among students of this School.
  • We hereby express our heartfelt gratitude to GOC, HQ 20 Mtn Div, Patron Army Public School Binnaguri and Dy GOC, Chairman APS Binnaguri for their constant guidance & support, the School Administration and Management Committee members, all the parents & well-wishers for having faith in us and helping Team Army Public School Binnaguri reach greater heights of success and glory.
