POCSO ACT, 2012
  • The protection of children from sexual offences act (POCSO), 2012 strengthens the legal provisions for the protection of children from sexual abuse and exploitation. It provides protection to all the children under the age of 18yrs from the offences of sexual assault, sexual harassment and pornography. The act provides for stringent punishments which have been graded as per the gravity of the offence.
  • Childhood is the primary stage of life. It knows no worry or anxiety, no good or evil. It is the period of both ignorance and innocence. Teachers and all concerned adults should try to keep children safe from any kind of abuse. Within our different areas of responsibilities, guided by policy, legislation and experience, we should take steps to provide what is best for our children. One important step in this regard can be equipping and empowering children at the right age.
  • As per CBSE guidelines our school formed a teachers committee consisting of 5 members of teachers.
